The Presence Healing Arts Pavilion is a 48,000-square-foot outpatient medical facility developed for Ascension (formerly Presence Health) to provide comprehensive wellness, diagnostic, and specialty services in New Lenox, Illinois. Completed in 2012, the pavilion serves as a cornerstone of Ascension’s integrated care network in Will County, offering patients convenient access to a broad range of outpatient and preventive health programs. The project reflects Ascension’s commitment to holistic healthcare that combines advanced medicine with wellness and community engagement.

FACILITY FEATURES & SERVICES

The Healing Arts Pavilion was designed as a multidisciplinary center that supports both clinical treatment and overall wellness. The facility includes:

  • Specialty Clinics including Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Women’s Health
  • Imaging and Diagnostic Services including MRI, CT, and Ultrasound

Rendina’s Role

Rendina served as developer and project manager for the Presence Healing Arts Pavilion, managing all aspects of planning, design, and construction. Working closely with Ascension’s leadership and clinical planners, Rendina oversaw coordination among architects, contractors, and healthcare providers to ensure the facility met the system’s operational and design standards. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, aligning with Ascension’s goal of expanding outpatient access while maintaining a focus on patient experience and wellness.

Impact

The Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center expands RWJBarnabas Health’s ability to deliver coordinated care and health education to families in Monmouth County. By combining preventive medicine, behavioral health, and specialty care under one roof, the center provides a model for whole-person wellness. The facility supports the system’s mission to promote healthier communities and strengthens Monmouth Medical Center’s role as a regional leader in outpatient and preventive care.
