The Coral Springs Family Health and Surgery Center is a 73,000 square foot outpatient medical facility developed for Cleveland Clinic Florida to expand access to high-quality healthcare in northwest Broward County. Completed in 2018, the center provides a comprehensive mix of clinical specialties, ambulatory surgery, and diagnostic imaging services in one convenient location. The project supports Cleveland Clinic Florida’s regional growth strategy by extending its model of integrated, patient-focused care to the communities of Coral Springs, Parkland, and surrounding areas.
FACILITY FEATURES & SERVICES
The Coral Springs facility houses multiple outpatient departments designed to provide seamless, coordinated care in a modern setting. The building includes:
- A state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center with four operating rooms and two procedure rooms
- Multi-specialty physician offices, including Primary Care, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Orthopaedics
- Imaging and Diagnostic Services, including MRI, CT, and X-ray
- Endoscopy Suite and Pre-/Post-Operative Recovery Areas
- Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services
- Laboratory and Phlebotomy
- Administrative and Support Offices
The facility’s design prioritizes patient comfort and operational efficiency, featuring bright, open interiors, intuitive wayfinding, and convenient access from University Drive. The building’s structure and layout allow flexibility to accommodate future growth in service lines and technology.
Rendina’s Role
Rendina served as developer and project manager for the Coral Springs Family Health and Surgery Center, overseeing all aspects of site development, design, construction, and delivery. Working closely with Cleveland Clinic Florida leadership, Rendina coordinated with clinical planners, architects, and contractors to create a facility that aligns with the health system’s standards for design quality and patient experience. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, marking an important milestone in Cleveland Clinic Florida’s continued expansion throughout South Florida.
