Strategic Portfolio Assessment to Guide Ambulatory Growth
Inspira Health engaged Rendina Healthcare Real Estate to conduct a comprehensive Ambulatory Strategy Assessment™ across its outpatient real estate portfolio. The assessment provided strategic insights into current facility utilization, market opportunities, and system-wide growth priorities, helping Inspira align its ambulatory network with long-term clinical and operational goals.
THE CHALLENGE
Inspira Health sought to optimize a large and diverse outpatient portfolio across Southern New Jersey, encompassing more than 80 locations. The health system needed to:
- Validate existing site performance and utilization
- Identify opportunities for growth, consolidation, or relocation
- Align its ambulatory network with population trends, competition, and patient access
- Establish a data-informed strategy to expand market share, improve patient experience, and strengthen brand identity
- Address inconsistent branding across the ambulatory network by identifying opportunities to standardize signage, interior finishes, and facility presentation
With fragmented market presence and increasing competition from regional health systems, Inspira required a clear, actionable roadmap to guide its ambulatory real estate decisions.
