RWJBarnabas Health at Bayonne is an 80,108-square-foot ambulatory care facility developed to expand access to outpatient services for residents of Hudson County and the surrounding communities. Completed in 2017, the project transformed a former retail site into a state-of-the-art healthcare destination, providing a full range of primary, specialty, and diagnostic services under one roof. The Bayonne facility represents RWJBarnabas Health’s commitment to improving convenience, care coordination, and community wellness through modern, patient-centered outpatient environments.
FACILITY FEATURES & SERVICES
The Bayonne facility houses a comprehensive mix of outpatient services designed to meet the daily healthcare needs of patients in a single location. The building includes:

Rendina’s Role
Rendina served as developer and project manager for RWJBarnabas Health at Bayonne, overseeing every phase of the project from site selection and planning through design, construction, and delivery. Working closely with RWJBarnabas Health leadership, Rendina managed the adaptive reuse of a commercial property, transforming it into a high-performance healthcare facility while maintaining tight project schedules and budgets. The collaboration demonstrates Rendina’s ability to deliver complex medical developments efficiently and in alignment with a health system’s long-term outpatient strategy.
Impact
RWJBarnabas Health at Bayonne enhances access to high-quality care for residents of Bayonne and nearby communities, reducing the need to travel to hospital campuses for routine and specialty services.
