Supporting LifePoint’s Vision for Connected Care
The North Alabama Medical Center Medical Office Building is a 71,000 square foot facility located on the campus of North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama. Completed in 2018, the building was developed for LifePoint Health to expand outpatient and specialty care offerings in Northwest Alabama. Designed to complement the adjacent hospital, the facility supports the system’s goal of delivering integrated, patient-centered care in a convenient ambulatory setting.
FACILITY FEATURES & SERVICES
The medical office building houses a broad range of physician practices and outpatient services, providing patients with easy access to both primary and specialty care. The facility includes:
- Multi-specialty physician suites
- Primary Care and Family Medicine offices
- Cardiology, Orthopaedics, and General Surgery practices
- Imaging and Diagnostic Services
- Outpatient Laboratory and Phlebotomy
- Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation

Rendina’s Role
Rendina served as developer and project manager for the North Alabama Medical Center Medical Office Building, providing comprehensive oversight from planning and design through construction and delivery. Working in close partnership with LifePoint Health, Rendina coordinated with hospital leadership, local authorities, and design professionals to ensure seamless integration with the main hospital campus. The project was delivered on time and within budget, supporting LifePoint’s strategic plan to strengthen its outpatient footprint in the region.
Impact
The North Alabama Medical Center Medical Office Building expands access to outpatient and specialty services, allowing patients to receive care in a modern facility conveniently located adjacent to the main hospital.
