Expanding Access to Immediate Care in Growing Bentonville, Arkansas
The Northwest Health Emergency Department – Bentonville is an 11,160-square-foot hybrid medical facility developed for Northwest Health and Intuitive Health. Completed in 2022, the project combines a full-service emergency department and an urgent care center under one roof, giving patients 24/7 access to immediate care in a convenient outpatient setting. Located in one of Northwest Arkansas’s fastest-growing communities, the Bentonville facility provides residents with a modern, efficient, and patient-focused alternative to traditional hospital emergency departments.
FACILITY FEATURES & SERVICES
The Bentonville facility integrates emergency and urgent care functions in a single, purpose-built environment designed for speed, accuracy, and patient comfort. Core features include:
- Ten exam and treatment rooms supporting both emergency and urgent care services
- On-site diagnostic imaging including CT scan, X-ray, and laboratory services
- Triage and trauma bays for high-acuity emergencies
- Separate treatment and waiting areas for urgent and emergency cases
- Centralized registration and intake designed for efficient patient flow
- Physician-led medical teams providing comprehensive care for all levels of acuity
The facility’s hybrid model allows patients to receive the appropriate level of care without confusion or unnecessary cost, supported by transparent billing and integrated clinical workflows.
Rendina’s Role
Rendina served as developer and project manager for the Bentonville facility, overseeing all aspects of the project from site development and permitting to design and construction. Working in partnership with Northwest Health and Intuitive Health, Rendina ensured that the project adhered to local healthcare regulations and met the operational needs of both emergency and urgent care services. The Bentonville site marked Rendina’s first collaboration with Northwest Health and continued its longstanding partnership with Intuitive Health to expand hybrid emergency and urgent care facilities nationwide.
